Group Announcements "Panthers win their 3rd Eastern Regional Championship"Congratulations to the Potomac Middle School Panthers for their DOMINATING and convincing 52-0 victory over Fred Lynn Middle on Thursday, November 5, 2009. The victory gives the Mighty Panthers' football team their third Eastern Regional Championship in the schools four year existence. I want to extend a special thanks to all parents who came out to support their children and our program, Ms. Tate for the pregame meals, our cheerleaders for all of their support, and my assistant coaches for all of their efforts this year. We are now in preparation mode for next season!!
Coach Anderson Team motto; "Turn Up the Wick" Frank Beamer Team MottoOur team motto in the past years has been "Be The Best" and we have tried to instill that in our kids as we continue to push them to always be the best. This year along with being the best, we have adopted a motto from Virginia Tech head football coach, Frank Beamer, "Turn Up The Wick". This motto is to inspire our kids to give a little extra when they don't feel that they have any more to give. Not only in the class room, but on the football field, and at home does "Turn Up the Wick" apply.
